Dennis Kimsey Obituary
Maryville, TN
Dennis "Denny" Maynard Kimsey, of Maryville, TN passed away of heart failure on Monday, December 28, 2015 at UT hospital in Knoxville, TN at the age of 58. He was loved very much by his family and friends, particularly for his entertaining and fun-loving nature. Many times Denny expressed his faith in the salvation power of Jesus. This gives his family and friends much comfort in his passing.
Denny was preceded in death by his mother Mary Katherine Ethridge Carter and his grandparents Tom and Juanita Shaw and Claude and Emmaline Ethridge. Denny is survived by his father and step-mother Joe and Elizabeth Kimsey; his brothers Robert Joe Kimsey and Timothy Dean Kimsey; his children D.J. Kimsey, Aaron Kimsey, Josh Kimsey and Micah Kimsey; his grandchildren Morgan, Annabelle and Paul; his niece and nephews Dicie Kimsey Headrick, Drew Kimsey, Kat Kimsey and Laken Kimsey and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Receiving of friends is scheduled for Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Smith Trinity Chapel in Maryville, TN from 9:00 until 11:00 AM. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM with Rev. Denny and I knew each other in our teen years, he was a precious person. I'm saddened to learn of his passing, Heavens gain is our loss. Rest in peace dear friend, we shall see each other again in the sweet by and by.
