Dear Patricia,
Thinking of my friend, I came across this web page today. I wanted to share my thoughts, memories and condolences to a wonderful friend which my family and I have great memories of the times we spent together. Dennis, as you look down from Heaven, we shared many trials, tribulations and good times which all were catalyst for strength. Dennis, my humble friend filled with humor and artistic talent. Always fun to be around. Felix and Oscar fame.
I truly miss you.
Godspeed

Dear Pat and family,
Please know you are in our prayers during this sad time as you miss Dennis and his place in your daily lives. I will always remember how he saved me from an attacking dog when I was a little girl and we were visiting in Savannah. He was so sweet and brave. May God keep you in His loving care. With love, Jill Parrott Ansley, Sanford, NC

Pat and family,
I am so sorry that you will miss Dennis now that he has gone on to our Heavenly Father. But I do know there is a Parrott reunion going on in heaven that someday we will be a part of...I am sure there is laughter, fun and joy there. God bless you and keep you in the days ahead. My thoughts and love to all of you, Jan Parrott Jones Eastman Ga.

Dennis, I have the "Far Side" cartoon replica which you painted for me in hand right now. Remember, you gave it to me in December 1987 after I had been released from the hospital earlier in the spring after I had been treated in a Knoxville, TN hospital for a dangerous illness. The caption you wrote and attached to the back of the frame reads, "To Brian. Here is your favorite "Far Side." This was a labor of love. I hope when you look at it from time to time it will remind you of me and our love of humor...
Love, Your uncle Dennis"
