Knoxville, TN

Dennis Steve Watson passed away Friday, May 4, 2018. Born on August 19, 1947 in Knoxville, he graduated from Central High School in 1965 and joined the Marines in 1967. He was the owner of Watson Erection Company and worked in the steel erection business until he retired. He was a past president of Knoxville Builders Exchange, past board member of Associated Builders and Contractors and a Lifetime Sportsman. Preceded in death by his parents H.H. (Hub) and Barbara Garrett Watson. He is survived by his wife Margaret, daughter Kelly Watson and grandchildren Micah and Isaiah Jones. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday May 12 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, with service to follow at 3:00 p.m. with Dr. Damon Patterson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association, www.donatenow.heart.org, or PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692. I am so sorry to hear of Dennis' passing. As a teen he was at my Grandmother's house often & even sometimes in Halls at our house. Please know that his family will be in my thoughts & prayers. RIP
