DeVarah Penery, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 17, 2016.
She was preceded in death by father, JW Penix; husband, Terry Penery; and brother, John Penix. She is survived by her mother, Bonnie Penix; sister, Phyllis Terry; brothers, Tim Penix, and Duane Penix; several nephews, and nieces.
Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery 12:45 p.m., Friday, January 22, 2016 for an 1:00 p.m. graveside service with Pastor Jack Dean officiating. Online obituary may be viewed and condolences extended at www.rosemortuary.com. Arrangements by Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel.

You were a wonderful friend and mighty woman of God. I will miss our trips to O'Charleys for grilled chicken salad and potato soup. You will be sorely missed.
