DORTHA PRATT Obituary

PRATT, DORTHA L. - age 73 of Maryville, passed away Friday, December 21, 2012, at her home. She was a member of Alcoa Maryville Church of God, where she taught Sunday School for 46 years, and also attended Third Street Baptist Church of Maryville. She retired from Maryville City Schools, where she worked for 22 years in the Maryville Middle School Cafeteria. Mrs. Pratt was preceded in death by her parents, Charles F. and Anna Belle Wiseman Moser and brothers, Joe, Doug, Bill, M. L., Ivan and Lloyd Moser. Survivors include her husband, Joe Pratt of Maryville; son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Julie Pratt of S. Pittsburg, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Rita and James Tatum of Alcoa; grandchildren, Zachary, Anna and Sam Pratt and Jason Tatum; sisters, Ruby Isbill of Friendsville, Arnita Pratt of Powell; brothers, Stanley Moser of Ten Mile, TN, Tommy Moser of Lenoir City; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Hickman, Rev. Lee Hicks and Rev. Walter Isbill officiating. The interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. Sunday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Tennessee, Inc., Eastern TN Chapter, 2270 Sutherland Avenue, Suite 202, Knoxville, TN 37919.

Nikki, Amber, and I loved her. She was a kind and caring woman that freely gave her love to the children at church and school. She always had a smile for you. That is how we will remember her.
