Fern Coada Obituary

COADA, FERN A. - age 68 of Tallassee, lost his battle with cancer Tuesday, May 16, 2006. He would have celebrated his 69th birthday on May 25, 2006. He loved to camp, fish, and spend time with his family which included his loyal dogs, Chase and Ellie. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Floyd E. and Estella Marine Coada; and brother, Milburn. He leaves behind: his wife of almost 46 years together, Gladys Shope Coada; daughters and sons-in-law, Yvonne and Chris Boring of Andersonville, Rhonda and Roger Boring of Maryville; sons and daughter-in-law, Brian and Courtney Coada of Greenback, and Bruce Coada of Maryville; ten grandchildren, Patrick and wife Sarah, Tyler, Dalton, Dillon, Brianne, Cody, Kevin, Bradi, Jessica, and Jeb; one great-granddaughter, Emily; also left behind are his sisters and brothers-in-law, Zelma and late husband Claude Rhyne, Marie and Hall Shoffner, Myrtle and late husband "Pete" Wilson, and Reona Coada; brothers and sisters-in-law, Arnold and Yvonne Coada, Phillip and late wife Toni Coada; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Beecher Whitehead and Rev. Bill Dixon officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 am Friday at Happy Valley Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville. www.millerfuneralhome.org.
