Fred S. Reagan

REAGAN, FRED S. - age 82 of Louisville, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Mr. Reagan was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II, serving in the Philippines. He retired from ALCOA after more than 40 years of service and was a member of the 25 year club. He was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed working with electronics. He is preceded in death by a son, Daniel E. Reagan, and a daughter, Cheryl Ann Whitlock, MD, Ph. D. He is survived by his wife of 61 1/2 years, Dorothy Reagan; two sisters, Beatrice Abbott and Rachel Ogle; sister-in-law, Frances Reagan; son-in-law, Ken Whitlock; two grandchildren, Derek Whitlock and Kara Whitlock; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Reagan is at Highland South Funeral Home where the family will receive friends on Sunday from 1-2 p.m. with Rev. Kenny Armstrong and Rev. Joe Lewis conducting the funeral service immediately following the visitation. Burial will follow at Highland South Cemetery.
