Fred Reagan Obituary

REAGAN, FRED S. - age 82 of Louisville, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Mr. Reagan was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II, serving in the Philippines. He retired from ALCOA after more than 40 years of service and was a member of the 25 year club. He was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed working with electronics. He is preceded in death by a son, Daniel E. Reagan, and a daughter, Cheryl Ann Whitlock, MD, Ph. D. He is survived by his wife of 61 1/2 years, Dorothy Reagan; two sisters, Beatrice Abbott and Rachel Ogle; sister-in-law, Frances Reagan; son-in-law, Ken Whitlock; two grandchildren, Derek Whitlock and Kara Whitlock; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Reagan is at Highland South Funeral Home where the family will receive friends on Sunday from 1-2 p.m. with Rev. Kenny Armstrong and Rev. Joe Lewis conducting the funeral service immediately following the visitation. Burial will follow at Highland South Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Homeless Fund, Beech Grove Baptist Church, 1519 Topside Road, Louisville, TN 37777.
