Grace Lindsay Obituary

LINDSAY, GRACE MORTON - age 88, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 29, 2009. She was the daughter of Henry and Clara Eblen Morton; mother of five children including David N. Lindsay, deceased. Also deceased: brother, Jay Morton and sister, Lillie Mae Brewer. She was a nurse at Ft. Sanders Hospital and a member of Martel United Methodist Church. She is survived by four children, Clara Lindsay of Knoxville, Judy and Wiley Scott of Nashville, James R. (Jim) and Angie Lindsay of Knoxville, and John and Linda Lindsay of Knoxville; one brother, Gordon and Ruth Morton of Martel; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins; close friend, Margaret Bowling. Service 7:30PM Friday Cokesbury United Methodist Church with Rev. Rebekah Fetzer officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:45PM Saturday at Sherwood Cemetery for interment at 2PM. Family will receive friends 5:30-7:30PM Friday Cokesbury United Methodist Church. Mynatt Funeral Home - Fountain City in charge of the arrangements. www.mynattfh.com
