Loudon, TN
Hugh Bowers, age 58, of Loudon, passed away Monday, December 1, 2015 in Montgomery, AL. Hugh was a veteran of the U.S. Air force.
He is preceded in death by parents, James and Mildred Sitzlar Bowers. He is survived by sons, Mac and Gabriella Bowers, Knoxville, and Jeremiah Bingham; daughter, Rebecca Strain; brother, Gene "Bunny" Bowers, Alabama; special sister, Virginia Brown, Loudon; grandchildren, Camille Bowers, Ava and Levi Hebert, Cameron, Andrew, Aiden Bingham; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service 7:00 p.m., Friday, Loudon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Cook officiating. Graveside service 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Prospect Cemetery, with Military Honors provided by the Loudon County Veteran Honor Guard. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 p.m., prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements provided by Loudon Funeral Home www.loudonfuneralhome.net.
