Dr. Pierce was the professor who both inspired and helped me open my mind to electronics design which is now my life's work. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity I had to be his student. Class of 1981.

Dr Frank Pierce was a great engineer, and a wonderful person in sm many ways, as evidenced by the many books, papers, and so many graduate students that
he Sponsered in the quest for their degrees. .Dr. Pierce is the person
who hired me in 1972, and it wasn'td long before I knew he wanted me to
"operate by the book".There was another book that Dr. Pierce loved to teach from, and that book was the Holy Bible. We used our lunch break to attend Bible classes with him. He loved to teach, and we loved to
listen. I will surely miss him,as I do now, just knowing he's not with
uks any more, but he's in a better place. To me there is no doubt. The
The family is in my prayers, and to Mrs Pierce I would like to say I'm
very sorry that I couldn't attend the services for Dr. Pierce.

Lynn and I were out of town last week and did not learn until today that Frank had passed away. He was a wonderful asset to the College of Engineering, and his work lives on in the many professional achievements of his students. Please accept our deep sympathy, our prayers, and our best wishes.

I am sorry to hear that Frank passed away. I owe a lot to him for guiding me through my doctoral program. Frank was a great educator. I recount Frank's quips and humor to others to this day.

Joan: I am so sorry to hear about Frank's passing. I had to work evenings at UTMC on Tuesday so I was unable to come to the house when you were receiving family and friends. Please know that you have been in my thoughts and prayers. May God Bless and Comfort You in your sadness. Mary Lynn

I met Frank through his visits to Ortec while I was employed there. He was a gentle giant, such a pleasant man to talk with. I'm so very sorry to learn of his death; he will be missed by many.

I am certainly sad to hear of the passing of Dr. Pierce. He was my major professor in the mid-70's.
