James Carter Obituary

CARTER, MR. JAMES EDWARD - age 63 of Jacksboro, formerly of Corryton, passed away suddenly Wednesday evening January 17, 2007 at St. Mary's Hospital in LaFollette. He attended Becarah Baptist Church and was preceded in death by father and mother, Rev. Everett and Vada E. Carter, sister and brother in law, Eula M. and Lester Beeler; several aunts; and uncle. Survivors: nieces and husbands, Linda and Clayton Sands of Maynardville, Glenda and Charles Campbell of Corryton; 2 great nieces and 3 great great nieces; 2 great nephews; aunt, Zell and husband, James Norris of Maynardville; special friends at Bright Horizons and Rainbow Acres in Jacksboro. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday with funeral services to follow at 8 p.m., Ailor's Chapel, Rev. Jerry Vittatoe officiating. Music by New Friendship Singers. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 a.m. Saturday at Ailor Mortuary to proceed to Beeler Cemetery on Bull Run Rd. for an 11 a.m. graveside service. Pallbearers will be nephews and cousins. Ailor Mortuary, Maynardville. Our obituary line is 865-992-1114

My prayers are with you at this difficult time. I also have the folks at the group home in my prayers as this will be difficult for them. I am glad that I got to meet Jamie and know that He came to know Christ. We love you.
