Knoxville, TN
James Douglas Greene - age 70 of Knoxville passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018. Member of Kodak United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Harry and Betty Greene. Survived by son, James M. Greene; daughter, Angela (Bradley) Leake; grandchildren, Daphne Greene, Charity Williams, Megan Walton, and Morgan Walton; great grandchild, Peyton Savage; and sister, Mary Greene. Funeral services will be 8:00 PM Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Chad Roberts officiating. Family and friends will meet 8:45 AM on Wednesday at Bridges Funeral Home and proceed to East TN Veteran Cemetery-John Sevier for a 9:30 AM interment. Military honors will be provided by the East TN Veteran Honor Guard. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 865-523-4999. www.bridgesfuneralhome.com

I didn't know your loved one personally, but as a bible student, I wanted to share a scriptural words of encouragement. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3).
