JEANETTE RADER Obituary

RADER, JEANETTE FRANCIS SULLIVAN - 90, of Knoxville, died Monday, December 10, 2012. She was born to the late Jack and Eula Howard Sullivan Lee on December 13th, 1921, in Harlan County, Kentucky. She was married to Frederick M. Rader, Jr. of Bristol Tennessee. They were residents of Knoxville since 1955. Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband; her oldest son, Rick, who was killed in action in Viet Nam; and her sister, Doris Dickey of Knoxville. She is survived by her sons, Jack Rader and his wife, Mary, of Tampa, Florida, Dr. Gregg M. Rader and his wife, April, of Knoxville, Tennessee; and her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Kirby, Gregg, Jr., Nicholas, Erin, Hope, Cameron, Kyle and Max. She was a gold-star mother who had a warm, out-going personality appreciated by everyone who knew her. Her enthusiasm, kindness, and generosity will be missed by all. The family expresses its sincerest appreciation to Dr. Steven Silver for his compassionate care and to the many good people at the assisted living facility at Shannondale Retirement Communities who cared for her. A private graveside service is planned. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Please sign Mrs. Rader's online register book at www.highlandmemorialparks.com. Keeping you and your family in my prayers and thoughts. I cared for Ms. Rader at Shannondale Assisted Living facility and came to know her as a wonderful friend. May God comfort you in your time of loss.
