JoAnn (Wiggins) Foxx, age 79 of Loudon, went to her Heavenly home, Friday, June 9, 2017. JoAnn was a member of First Baptist Church, Loudon where she served many years as a church pianist. She also served more recently at New Providence Baptist. A member of the Athens Area Music Teachers Association; she was a piano teacher instructing a multitude of youngsters, many whom have gone on to make music their life-song. Many brides have walked the aisle to her wedding march and many a family has been comforted by her rendition of "It is Well with My Soul" as they said goodbye to their own loved ones. She was a patient and kind woman with an inner strength to be envied. An encourager and supporter to many. Her absence will be felt for years to come.

Preceded in death by her parents, John Harrison and Margaret Catherine (Sherrill) Wiggins; sisters, Juanita Decker and Ruth Netherton; and her beloved husband, Dale Foxx.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Amanda Foxx, son, Martin "Marty" Foxx; grandchildren, Aaron and wife, Sarah Foxx, Kayla Foxx, Hannah Crawford and Wil Treadway; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Ann Wiggins, Richard and Lela Wiggins; special friends, Wayne and Valerie White, Blanche Randolph, Brenda Hart and Karen Henry; mother of her grandchildren, Michelle Foxx and a multitude of other friends.

Services honoring and remembering JoAnn Foxx will be held 7:00 PM Monday, June 12th, First Baptist Church, Loudon with Rev. Jim Best, Rev. Mark Caldwell and Rev. Brian Courtney officiating. Interment 11:00 AM Tuesday in Loudon County Memorial Gardens with Preacher Phillip Mullins officiating. Contributions in memory of JoAnn may be made to Adult Community Training, an organization supporting the care and assistance to clients with Cerebral Palsy and other special needs, a cause which was close to her heart and a group she assisted in establishing: ACT, 5410 Hwy 321, Lenoir City, TN 37771.
