I am so sorry to learn of Johnny's passing. He was such a kind person and a true gentleman. I have fond childhood memories of time our families spent together - especially going to Washburn in the summer. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers at this sad time.

This time of year I remember Johnny Ray and family visiting Granny Petre's (Johnny's aunt). Most of Washburn also showed up. Johnny Ray was like a brother to my parents and an uncle to us three boys. I value the time he and Betty would eat with my brothers and me when I visited town. He will be missed.

My deepest condolences to the family.
