Knoxville, TN
Joseph A. Newcomb Jr., age 56, born November 13, 1959. Joe went to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, May 3, 2016. He loves the Lord and loved singing his praises. He wrote and sang many songs in his devotion. Joe served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed his children, bass fishing, and his family.
Joe is preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Mary Newcomb, Sr. He is survived by sons, Brandon Newcomb, Kevin Newcomb; daughter, Heather Newcomb; sister, Anna (George); and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Young-Williams Animal Shelter in his name.
A celebration of life will be held at 8:00 pm Monday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with Frank Sellers officiating. Family and friends will meet Tuesday at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery (John Sevier) for an 11:30am inurnment. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 Monday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. www.mynattfh.com
