Justin Taylor Obituary

Justin Q. Taylor

Knoxville - Justin Q. Taylor, #JusBuss #JTMoney #LilTip, gained his wings January 27, 2021. Justin was born October 15, 2005 to Juanqus and Stefanie (Taylor) Sims in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was a student at Austin East High School and looking forward to graduating in the class of 2024. Justin was a loving son and devoted brother and friend. As a pre teen, he developed the entrepreneur spirit thus starting his own lawn care service. He also had a passion for writing. Justin put his words into rap songs showing his literary skills and musical talent. Justin loved his family dearly and will be missed.

Preceded in death by his great grandparents, Margaret Ann Dawkins and Sammy Taylor, Sr.; grandfather, Jesse Sims and several other family members.

Left to cherish his memory: parents, Juanqus and Stefanie Sims; sister, Kiara; brothers, Juanqus, Jr. "Tay", Quentavious and Tayshawn; grandparents, Cynthia Taylor, Eugene Hankins, Mary and James Green; aunts, Teresa and Cheryl; great aunt, Sandra Taylor; great uncles, Resse Dawkins and Sammy Taylor, Jr.; devoted cousins, Tiffany, Jasmine, Dean, Alontae, Strea, Shakeidra, Yasimine, Tony, Brittany, Patrick, Teyona, Deidre, Doodles, Qua, Big Baby and Aubrey; a host of other family and friends too numerous to name.

Friday, February 5, 2021, a public walkthrough is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Open Door Church, 2806 Sherman Street, Knoxville, TN. Social distancing and face coverings are required. A private service to follow for immediate family and close friends. Interment at New Gray Cemetery, 2724 Western Avenue, Knoxville, TN, where a white dove release will conclude the service.
