Kenneth Howell Obituary

HOWELL, KENNETH L. - age 70 of Lenoir City, was called Home to sing bass in God's Heavenly Choir on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2006. Kenneth was a very talented musician, both a guitarist and singer. He loved to sing Gospel music with Wayne, Judy and Huey Howell. He loved his family, friends, church and his music. Kenneth was a member of Avery Masonic Lodge #593 F & AM. He was hired with Loudon Co. Sheriffs Department in October of 1989 and he graduated from Police Academy, March 2, 1990 at the age of 54. Kenneth was retired from Loudon Co. Sheriffs Department on June 17, 1997 and continued to work part time until 2001. Preceded in death by: his father, Roy E. Howell and mother, Elsie Brown Howell Thompson. Survived by: his loving wife and caretaker, Debbie Howell of Lenoir City; sons, Michael Howell and wife, Debbie of Greer, SC, Jeff Howell and wife, Holly of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, Bobby Howell of Sacramento, CA; daughters, Tara Krautkremer and husband, Todd of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, Shannon Howell of Sacramento, CA; sister, Donna Perry and husband, Dave of Lenoir City; grandchildren, Daniel and Ruth Howell of Greer, SC, Cole, Luke and Noah Krautkremer, Zack and Shanna Howell of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; special friend, Clarence Cusick. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Highland Park Baptist Church in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Eddie Click and Rev. Bill Wilkinson officiating. Family and friends will gather by 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Click Funeral Home and proceed to Lenoir City Cemetery for 11 a.m. graveside services with full honors conducted by Loudon Co. Sheriffs Department Honor Guard. Serving as pallbearers: Sheriff Tim Guider, Jeff Howell, Michael Howell, Jim Creek, Benny Shubert and Ron Parr. Honorary pallbearers will be the Loudon Co. Sheriffs Department. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Highland Park Baptist Church Building Fund, 4333 Highway 11 East, Lenoir City, TN 37772.
