I taught Larry in high school and coached him in JV Football. He was a fine young man. He and I kept in touch for years after he graduated. I remember the pride he shared with me upon winning his first world title and the passion that he had for his sport. He was tough as nails but he also was a gentle soul. The tears he cried when I told him that my son had died were genuine and that was the Larry that I knew and loved. I didn't see him after that day in 2003 but the impact he left on my life will always be a part of me. Larry, I love you brother and I will see you again someday.
