Mark Allen Loyless

Crossville, TN

Mark Allen Loyless, age 79 of Crossville, TN passed away May 7, 2017. He was born April 27, 1938 in Blakely, GA the son of Early and Nellie Strickland Loyless. He was retired from the United States Air Force having proudly served our country through two tours in Vietnam. He was also an active member of Cumberland Homesteads Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife- Barbara Mayfield Loyless of Crossville, TN, son- Christopher P. Loyless of Leesburg, VA, stepson- Joe H. Mayfield and his wife Jennifer of Marietta, GA and grandchildren- Alex Mayfield, Abbey Mayfield, Spencer Loyless and Parker Loyless.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Cynthia Monroe Loyless, sisters- Delia Baker and Sue George, brother- Jerry Loyless and nephew- James George.

Funeral services will be held Thursday May 11, 2017 at 11am at Cumberland Homesteads Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-8pm at the church. Burial will be in Spring City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has respectfully asked that donations be made to Cumberland Homesteads Baptist Church, 4427 Hwy 127 South, Crossville, TN, 38555.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Elizabeth Petty and the staff at Good Samaritan Society for the expert and compassionate care given during Mark's final months.
