Mark Pack Obituary

Mark Andrew Pack

Knoxville, TN

Pack, Mark Andrew 38 of Knoxville, TN went to be with the Lord Monday, January 28, 2019. He is set free from his struggles of paralysis due to a motorcycle wreck in 2014. Mark participated in stem cell research in San Diego, CA in hopes of giving others affected by paralysis a chance to walk again. He loved life and lived it to the fullest even after his accident. Mark was extremely loved by and will be missed by his mother and step father, Judy and Rife Chambers; father, Chester R. (Mavis) Pack Jr.; sister, Melissa "Missy" (Ryan) Houston; special aunt and uncle, Carolyn "Picky" and Doug Percival; aunt, Brenda (Larry) Russell; uncle, Ron Payne; niece and nephew, Jaden and Landen Houston; special cousin, Benjamin "Benji" Percival; cousins, Bryan Percival of Colorado, John and Logan Russell, Ronnie & Brandon Payne. Mark's family would like to acknowledge all of his life long friends (too many to list) that gave him strength and encouragement in facing his difficult days. He would want them all to know how much he loved them. Special thanks goes to Summit View of Farragut for their compassionate care. We take comfort in knowing Mark is walking again and writing his musical lyrics from Heaven. Family will receive friends Saturday, February 2nd from 12-2pm with funeral service at 2pm and burial will follow all at Sherwood Chapel on Airport Highway. Condolences may be offered at www.sherwoodchapel.com.

I have so many memories of Mark. He was so funny and such a great man. He and I were close from the time he was a kid. I took him to his first wrestling match and he was so excited he got his picture posted to the front page of the Knoxville News Sentenille.
When we connected on facebook we used to talk about our health issues and what all we thought our lives should have been like, what we would have done if things were different.
He posted all his rap videos for me so I could see them. He was so talented and I told him that, I encouraged it. He wanted to come to ATL and stay with me for a couple of weeks...(Maybe a couple of months? he said. lol) He wanted to check out the Atl scene and try rapping here. I know he could've made the ATL scene hands down.
He was a strong man, a real fighter and a great encourager. I loved him so very much and he loved me as well, no doubt.
He is going to be so badly missed but I will see you again soon in heaven, so just wait by the gates when you hear my name come up, I want you to be one of the first people I hug as I walk through those gates.
Run, jump and go free. Today through eternity, you live only in the SON and there is no better place to be.
Rest In Peace.

Mark always knew I loved him. We were close from the time he was a kid. When we got together on facebook, he posted all his videos for me. I was so impressed and excited. He was wanting to come to ATL and stay with me while he tried to get into the rap scene here. He was always a sweet precious man and I will always love him. There are no chains binding you now. You are free from all the world's cruelty and living in the SON with all that love you. See you soon. Love, Aunt Carla Kagley Pacheco
