She was one of our neighborhood moms and always watching out for us and entertained us. At Halloween she dressed up as a witch complete with broom and cauldron! In the winter when Cedar Street was closed due to snow, all of us kids would sled down the hill towards Pistol Creek. She kept an eye on us and fixed hot chocolate for us. She was always impeccably dressed and make up and hair done. I am fortunate enough to have known her and blessed. She was a true southern lady and will be missed by all who knew her. My sincerest condolences to all the family.

Bruce,
Your Mom was one of the most genuine and gracious people that we have ever know. She loved people and always had a beautiful smile for everyone. She was always curious and ready to learn something new or to pass on some of her vast wisdom. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. She was a very special lady who will be so very missed.
Love, Kermit and Linda

Bruce, Bill & Alison and Zachary,
I loved your sweet mother/grandmother! She was like a ray of sunshine.. always warm, bright and spreading good cheer! Mary wore many "hats"- wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, business woman, hostess, baker, friend, and volunteer to numerous clubs and organizations. She could easily have received the Service to Mankind Award every year! Mary truly was a selfless person- always focusing on others! You all are in my thoughts and prayers as you deal with this tremendous loss.
With deepest sympathy,
Richard and Beth(Hitch) Ryburn
