Michael Hensley Obituary
Knoxville, TN
Michael Joe Hensley, age 46, of Knoxville, Tennessee, was called home on Saturday, November 3, 2018, after a long battle with Juvenile Diabetes. He leaves behind a personal testimony of asking Jesus to come into his heart, so by faith we know we will see him in heaven one day.
Michael is preceded in death by his dad, Donald Hensley and brother, Timothy Hensley. He is survived by his mother, Charlotte Hensley; brother, Carl Hensley; sister, Tracy Collins; former wife, Cindy Hensley; children, Kimberly and husband, Caleb Cox of New Market, Stephanie and husband, Michael Townsend of Halls and Brett Hensley of Karns; grandchildren, Adam and Cayden Cox and Eli and Olly Townsend; special friend, Anna Brymer and his son, Urijah Brymer Hensley of Knoxville and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special thanks to Larry and Susan Austen for the good care they gave to Michael.
A Memorial Service and a going home celebration with family and friends will be held at Riverview Baptist Church, 410 Blacksferry Lane, Clinton, on November 10, 2018 at 10:00a.m. with Brother David Hicks officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests donation be made in Michael's memory to Riverview Baptist Church, 410 Old Blacksferry Lane, Clinton, TN 37716. Arrangements by Cremation Options, Inc.
