Michael Owens Obituary
Grainger County - Michael Roy Owens, age 45 of Grainger County, passed away on July 19, 2021. He attended Grace Point Baptist Church in Talbott, TN, and was a longtime member of Rutledge Volunteer Fire Department. He also loved to farm and be outdoors.
Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Stephanie (Massengill) Owens, father; Sammy Owens, grandparents; Roy (Helen) Owens and Jake (Ruth) Hancock.
He is survived by his whole world, his son; Braxton Owens, mother; Joyce Owens, sisters; Pam (Bill) Duncan, Jamie (Jayme) Dalton, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, In-laws; Sam (Penny) Dawson and Scott Massengill, Sister in law; Ashley Massengill.
Pallbearers; Sam Dawson, Greg Kincer, Randy Morgan, Jeff Daniels, Richard Reagan, Larry Gray and Chris Daughterty.
Family will receive friends Friday, July 23, 2021 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Smith-Reagan Funeral Home with services to follow at 7:00pm.
Family and friends will gather at Smith-Reagan Funeral Home at 10:00am Saturday, July 24, 2021 to go in procession to Sunrise Baptist Church Cemetery for an 11:00am graveside service.
