Michael Roberts Obituary
Knoxville, TN
Michael Gray Roberts, age 73, of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016. Mr. Roberts was a member and deacon at Lonsdale Baptist Church and retired from Sears after more than 25 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; parents, Henry and Mary Roberts; siblings, Evelyn Crawley, Henry "Bud" Roberts and Dean Roberts. He is survived by daughter, Cindy Roberts; grandchildren, Andrew Randolph, Christina Randolph, Tyler Roberts, and Trever Roberts; great-grandchildren, Aiden and Landon Randolph; brother, Gene Roberts, best friend, Bill "The Killer" Keeler and lifelong childhood friends, Sonny McRae and Frank Reagan. A special thank you to Robin and Jim Wood. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Lonsdale Baptist Church, 1319 Connecticut Ave., Knoxville, Tennessee 37921.
Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst Cemetery at 12:45 pm Monday, April 18, 2016 for a 1:00 pm graveside services, with Rev. Marvin Carter officiating.
