TATE, MICHAEL RAY - of Maryville, is rejoicing in Heaven with His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. he departed his earthly home, June 3, 2012, in Maryville, TN. Preceded in death by grandparents, Joe (Ruth) Tate and Arthur Cantrell; great grandparents, Roosevelt (Savannah) Manuel; sister, Dorothy Tate. He leaves to mourn his passing, loving parents, JoAnn and Ray Cantrell; sisters, Latasha (Brandon) Sissum, Lakishia Goss, Savannah Cantrell and Rachelle Cantrell; brothers, Benjamin (Belinda) Goss, Jr. and Jeremiah Cantrell; aunts, Adlaide Tate; uncles, Willie (Renee) Tate, Luther Tate, Melvin Tate, Frank Tate, Richard Tate; great aunts, Epsie (Thomas) Jackson and Laura Bell Manuel; great uncle, Benjamin Manuel; devoted family friend, Peggy (Jack) Young; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Jarnigan & Son Mortuary, 2823 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave, Knoxville, TN 37914. Family will receive friends, 12:00 - 12:30 p.m., Friday at Rest Haven Baptist Church, Alcoa, TN; celebration of life, 12:30 p.m., Rev. Richard Turney, officiating.
