Knoxville, TN
Mildred Joyce McMillan, affectionately known as "Millie", passed away October 9, 2016. On this day, God called one of His own home to glory after battling a lengthy illness.
Preceded in death by father, James Latime; grandparents, James and Juanita McMillan; brothers, Gregory, Arthur, Leroy and James McMillan. Survived by very devoted and only son, William Mark Martin; grandchildren, Marchia and Wilmarcus Martin, Akia Samuel and special granddaughter, Jarneisha Styles; several great-grandchildren; mother, Ethel McMillan; brothers, Dennis, Dexter, David and Darrell McMillan; sisters, Brenda Upton and Wanda McMillan; a host of nieces and nephews to include, LaWanda (Erreese) King, Roderick (Yolandre) Skinner, Kita (Elicia) Wynder, Ty'Dexstine, DJ, Dino, Tamaira, Arthur, Jr., Justus and My'Dexstine McMillan, Martha and Meliche Tate, Richard Upton, Jr., JaMichael Blair, Latasha King, Kwambe Bullard, Bernard Walker and Tania Skinner; devoted caregiver, Tammy Styles; a host of other relatives and friends to include devoted friends, Alice McMillan, Shirley Chandler and Virginia Randolph.
This evening, the family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a funeral to follow at Community Evangelistic Church, 2650 Boyds Bridge Pike, with Reverend Reginald Strong officiating.
