Paul Cox Obituary

COX, PAUL EDWARD - age 55 of Knoxville, died suddenly Monday, March 19, 2007. Paul retired from the US Air Force as a Master Sergeant with over 20 years of service. He was preceded in death by wife, Peggy Anne Clark Cox in 2004. He is survived by: his daughters and sons-in-law, Tiffany and Joseph Nemuras of Knoxville, Christie R. and Mark Harrison of Sevierville; grandchildren, Austin Cox, Victoria Harris, Katie Grace, Carson, and Abbie Nemuras; mother, Gladys Irene Cox; sister, Pat and husband, Ralph Mangun of Marietta, GA. Family and friends will meet Thursday and leave Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel and proceed to Tennessee Veterans' Cemetery for a 1:30 p.m. graveside service with Elder Jim McKinney officiating. Full Military Honors presented by Volunteer State Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends 12:00-1:00 p.m. Thursday at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel. www.rosemortuary.com.

I worked in the same unit as Paul for several years as a civilian, but we didnt become friends until about the time he retired. I found him to be a very friendly guy and always offering to assist me, either on the job or off. He was just a very generous person and always respectful of others. Men like Paul are always missed.
