Dear Jill,
I am sorry to have missed the service on Sunday. Please know how much I enjoyed knowing you and David. It was a pleasure serving the East Knox community with David. He always had a joke to tell (often on himself) at our pastors' breakfasts. I appreciated how well he supported Teresa McClure; he was in good hands. May God bless you!

Sincerely,
Amanda Bell Madson

I didn't know you or your husband but i can tell it will be a great loss for the Christian family and for you. The days ahead will not be easy but this is the time to lean on the wonderful savior your husband talked so much about. You will be under the blanket of God because we are all praying for you. Much love.

Mrs. Green.. I never met you but your wonderful husband was so very kind to assist me in finding hotel accomendations when my husband was admitted to te UT hospital from the Laughlin Hospital in Greeneville, TN.
Good friends of mine ( from Hardins Chapel UMC in Greeneville) had called him and asked him to help me as I had no idea how to find anything in Knoxville. He even came to the hotel and showed me how to get to the hospital at a very early hour, ( Dec.09)
He was such a kind loving man of God.
I feel your sorrow.

David was a great person. He was also a strong man of God, we shared many conversations about the Lord, even more he was a friend. It was an honor and privilege to get to spend the time I did with him and I know everyone at the TMBCOM felt the same way. Prayers go out for his family. At least we can take comfort in knowing David is rejoicing with his Savior in paradise. He will be missed and never forgotten.
