Robert Avon Johnson Jr. born May 27, 1962 departed this life Janunary 15, 2018 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Preceded in death by father, Robert Avon Johnson Sr. Survived by wife, Lisa Myers Williamson Johnson, daughters, Tiffany (Shabae Sr.) Ramey, sons; Will (Kat) Johnson, and Walt and Jake Williamson, God son, Demetrik Booker, mother, Doris Johnson, sisters; Rosalyn (Miguel) Batista, Robin Rhines, Rhonda (Tim) Clark, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. Family will receive friends Friday January 19, 2018 from 6 to 6:30 at Tabernacle Baptist Church 2137 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. Knoxville, TN 37915, with funeral services to follow. Interment, Saturday January 20, 2018, at 10 am at Berry's Highland West Cemetery. Final arrangements by Jarnigan and Son Mortuary. www.jarnigansmortuary.com

I am saddened to here of Buggy's passing. I got to know him well in post-Holston days: Always warm and charming with a sense of focus and determination to make it in his business endeavors. My friend, you made it; well done! I missed seeing Buggy over the last 15 years and certainly regret that. I take comfort in knowing he is in the hearts of those that loved and cared about him.

I was shocked to hear of "Buggy's", passing. My heart goes out to your family, especially his 3 beautiful sisters, whom is always protected. I know you will be missed. Your spirit and memories will always be alive. Rest In Peace and Love!

Life is so precious. When we see friends that we have not seen in a while, we must take the time to talk to them. I saw Buggy, in passing last year and we stood and talked for a while. I'm so thankful I did because it was our last conversation. To Ms. Doris and the entire family, I am praying for you all.
