I remember playing with Roger when he was a toddler in diapers at Mamaw's and Papaw's house. I remember his wedding at the house and watching him become an accomplished businessman. But more than anything I remember Roger's compassion for others . He loved his Mom and demonstrated that during her illness. He was an admirable man who truly loved his wife and children to the utmost--speaking proudly of them each time I saw him. Hate to see you leave us Roger--but we will meet again.

Lisa, Steven, and Lauren,
Roger always spoke so highly and proud of all three of you. His face lit up when he talked about any of you. I know you will miss him. I will miss our long conversations. I will miss a great friend that would have done anything for me and likewise. I loved his”fire and vinegar” spirit for anything he did. His listening ear, our lunches, and knowledge will be sadly missed. I am glad he is in a better place with no more pain. I know he is looking down and smiling and bragging about all three of you!
