Dear Dawn,

Absolutely stunned...is what I was when you informed me of Sean's tragic accident. I only knew him for a short time when he was in New Port Richey with you but, he seemed to be a nice normal kid just trying to grow up. Since then we've looked at numerous pictures of him in various settings and it always strikes me that he was a loving, and very loved young man...a family man. I know how very much you loved him and it's such a shame that he was taken away just as he was coming into his adulthood and learning how much he really cared for "you" as a parent and friend. My heart and prayers go out to you, Steve, Jesse, Pat, John, David and the rest of your family I'm not familiar with. I know what it's like to loose a family member suddenly and I know it will take a long time to deal with the hurt. I also know it doesn't help to dwell on the "why" or "if" for too long. All that love could do was done.

With deepest sympathies,
Robin McNeal

My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to Stephen, Dawn and Jessie and the whole family. I and my family were very close to them years ago when the kids were young and we lived in Newville, PA. We hiked and enjoyed so much together. Circumstances in life change, but one's heart does not. I am VERY sorry to hear of Sean's passing.

Sean always was willing to help out no matter what it took... He Natasha and I used to hang out and he'd let me sleep on the couch after we all hung out for a late night, although i never paid his the "rent" he always joked about. Sean you are amazing and you'll always have a place in my heart. We will see you again one day.

I remember meeting Sean years ago when my nephew Bryan brought him to our home. Through the years Sean and Bryan became the best of friends - Soul Mate Best Friends is what I like to call it. It was a friendship that neither time nor distance could weaken. It was not until this past December that I truly came to know the remarkable young man that Sean Becker was. When Bryan was shot and paralyzed, Sean's priority was to be there for Bryan. For weeks, Sean motivated, pushed and encouraged Bryan. During a time when you feel like there is not a lot to smile about, Sean Becker brought laughter and smiles. He had the perfect blend of humor, compassion, strength and honor. I can't say enough about him for he was at 22 what most aren't in a lifetime. We love you Sean and we miss you tremendously - more than words can express. Thank you for blessing me and all of my family with having the opportunity to know you and share in your amazing life!! Connor, Josh and I love you and miss you.

I can't even begin to explain how lucky I was to have Sean in my life during the trying times of my Son's accident. He stood by Bryan and never left his side. Sean was truly a good friend to Bryan and he became mine in a short period. He was my rock, my guardian of Bryan when I was not there, and an all around motivator to never quit. He will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to all the Becker family.

My grandson Bryan Newell was Sean's best friend. Bryan was shot last December and Sean came to his side and stayed with him. He pushed Bryan when no one else could. Sean was a bright light to all of our family when it was such a dark place at that time. We grew to love him very much during that time. We all have heavy hearts and will miss him very much.
Our regards to his family that they can somehow find the strength through Gods help to go on.

Sean was such a kind and gentle soul. He was a bright light for my family in such a dark time. He and my nephew Bryan have been best friends since elementary school, and Sean sat vigil by Bryan's side after an accident this past December left him paralyzed. I truly don't know how we would have made it through without Sean's caring and loving presence during that time. My heart breaks for the Becker family. You had a very beautiful, kind, and special young man for such a short time. He will be so greatly missed. He meant so much to so many.
