Mr. Valentine managed to make a pretty good musician out of me after 6 years of instruction at Gibbs. He led our band to multiple state championships and was an absolutely wonderful director. Mr. Valentine is one of the most influential people in my life and I love him.

We are so sad to lose S.L. We are grateful for his example and wisdom in the way he lived life and shared music. The entire family is in our thoughts and prayers.
