Shelley and I were close when we were younger. She loved Shaun Cassidy and we would play games an Barbies together. I looked up to her. The last thing we did with her as a family before she passed away was play Monopoly Jr. She had fun and it was a sweet time. She couldn't move the game piece herself, though, so we helped her.

The Lord has sweet Shelley now. I will always remember the twinkle in your eye, and the perfect love you so dearly wanted to give ... and to receive ... and now, finally, you are forever in the midst of that Perfect Love with Him, soaring high on the wings of an Eagle. Until we meet again ... Peace.

I will miss her smile and getting to pick up the phone and call her.
