Steve Grimes, age 65 of Knoxville, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, following a brief illness. A native of Burlington, Iowa, he was the son of the late Harold Richard and Marilyn Maxine Berkshire Grimes. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Victoria Grimes Behtz. Steve is survived by his son, Tony, of Everett, Washington; brother, Randy Grimes (Noelle), and niece Emily Grimes; sister Debra Grimes Moore (Thomas) and nephews Matthew, Andrew, and Jonathan Moore; brother-in-law, Ed Behtz (Diane), niece, Sarah Behtz, and nephew Thom Behtz (Kathy). Also missing Steve are close friends Marilyn and Purliemae. As per his wishes, no services will be held. Online condolences and remembrances may be sent through Legacy.com.
