I am very saddened to know such a fun, great, kind soul has gone away. I have run into him over the years and we always picked up where we left off. My father, Coach Buddy Fisher, was dying of cancer...and passed August 21st.....so this coincided at same time. Dad coached Steve's brother, Mark, at Bearden and always complimented his family...great people. I want the family to know that so many people loved Steve. There has always been some great, hilarious, fun story about Steve because he was always the guy guaranteed to make you laugh and feel good. God bless the family. God bless his children. Know his legacy is awesome and he is missed. Heaven got a great guy.

Steve and I had a lot of good memories and fun and crazy times starting in high school and continuing throughout the years. You never had to worry about Steve having your "back". I wish that I had kept in better contact with Steve these past few years. He will be missed.
