WANDA DYER PESTERFIELD

PESTERFIELD, WANDA DYER - age 71 of Lenoir City, passed away Friday, December 14, 2012. She was a loving wife, mother and friend. Wanda was retired from Yale Security after 34 years of service. She attended Second Baptist Church. Wanda enjoyed playing piano and gardening. Preceded in death by her husband, Troy Lee Pesterfield; father James Stanford Dyer; mother, Ruby Dyer Kelley; brothers, Cecil Dyer and Billy Joe Kelley; and sister, Margaret Key. She is survived by her son, Leslie Pesterfield of Lenoir City; sisters, Mildred Covington, Maggie Bryant and husband, Charles, Betty Crass and husband, Jack, Linda Rose, and Nell Majors; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday at Click Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Rick Harrell and Rev. Larry Brannon officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 10:30 Tuesday morning and proceed to Lakeview Cemetery for 11:00 a.m. graveside services.
