Fr. Nevils was our favorite priest, and we quote him often. His sermons were deep, but understandable. What a great writer and tinker he was. Have fun in heaven.

I knew Bill Nevils to be a fine man of God, a devoted son and a good father. I'm sure his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Rest in peace Father Bill Nevils, your work here is done. To his family, please accept my most sincere condolences.

Father Nevils helped my mother during the writing and publishing of the Claiborne Historical Society book on the families of Claiborne County.I only met (Bill) once but remember him to be a very fine person. My deepest sympathy to all family members.
