AUBURN - Barbara J. Wilhelm, 76, of Auburn, Indiana, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
She was born on Oct. 29, 1947, in Muskegon Heights, Michigan.
Barb was a graduate of East Noble High School in Kendallville.
She married William E. Wilhelm on July 29, 1967, in Kendallville, Indiana, and he survives.
Barb was a homemaker. She later earned her real estate license and worked for a company as a realtor and would work in the business trailer at company auctions.
She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Muskegon, Michigan, and later attended St. Paul Lutheran Church in Coldwater, Michigan.
Barb enjoyed making cemetery floral arrangements for monuments and vases for her family and close friends. She also enjoyed baking cakes and making candy.
Also surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Tina Wilhelm, of Quincy, Michigan; grandson, Ben Cook, of Quincy, Michigan; and a sister and brother-in-law, Deb and Rick Beiswanger of Kendallville.
She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel J. Witte; and her mother, Betty (Rynearson) Darr.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, with Barb's brother-in-law, Dick Long officiating.
Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, prior the service at the funeral home.
