Irvin Gilbert "Buddy" Wilhelm II

Irvin Gilbert "Buddy" Wilhelm, II, 62, of Hampstead, MD passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026 in Westminster, MD.

Born April 24, 1963 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Irvin A. and Marianna (née Warner) Wilhelm.

Buddy was a graduate of North Carroll High School in Hampstead, MD. He worked as a dishwasher for DoubleTree by Hilton in both Florida and Pikesville, MD. He was a member of the Church of the Open Door in Westminster and recently the Hampstead Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching W.W.E. wrestling and collecting wrestling memorabilia, dining out, especially at the Plum Crazy Diner in Westminster, and singing. In high school, he sang at The White House as a member of the North Carroll Ensemble.

Surviving are his brother and sister-in-law, Norman E. "Butch" Keeney, Jr. and Nancy Keeney; nieces, Jamie Keeney and Crystal Bosley, all of Westminster, MD; six great-nieces; one great-nephew; and three great-great-nieces.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 3, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead. Interment will follow in Taylorsville United Methodist Cemetery, Mount Airy, MD.
