ANGOLA - Donelda "Donnie" L. Hantz, 89, of Angola, Indiana, died on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024, at Cameron Memorial Community Hospital, Angola, Indiana.
Donnie was born on Sept. 19, 1935, in Fayette, Ohio, to Howard Elliott and Avis (Brink) Elliott Schumate.
She married Ronald "Mike" Hantz on Oct. 8, 1976.
Donnie worked in the Steuben County Assessors Office for 41 years before retiring. She was the York Township Trustee in Steuben County for 25 years and drove school bus for the MSD of Steuben County for 12 years.
Donnie was a member of Zion Missionary Church in Fremont, Indiana, and a member of the Fremont Moose Lodge Auxiliary.
Surviving are her children, Todd (Karma) Austin, of Fremont, Indiana, Viki (Terry) Anderson, of Angola, Indiana, Sandy Austin, of Fremont, Indiana, and Annette "Sue" Austin, of Angola, Indiana; along with her four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald "Mike" Hantz on June 8, 2019; son, Tom Austin; and siblings, Barbara Clark and Robert Elliott.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Monday, Dec. 30, 2024, at Weicht Funeral Home, Angola, Indiana.
Pastor Jon Bruney will be officiating.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., on Monday, Dec. 30, 2024, at the funeral home, prior to the service.
Memorial donations may be made to Zion Missionary Church, Fremont, Indiana.
