Janet Tuvell Obituary
SYRACUSE - Janet M. Tuvell, age 79, of Syracuse, Indiana, passed away on Friday, Dec. 8, 2023, at her residence.
She was born on Jan. 11, 1944, to Eugene and Edith (Hosstter) Gray in Wabash, Indiana. She married Dolph Tuvell on Feb. 26, 1971, in Ligonier, Indiana.
Janet is survived by her husband of 52 years, Dolph Tuvell, of Syracuse; children, Teresa Owens, of Syracuse, Troy (Sherri) Airgood, of Ligonier and Ginger Wiley, of Milford; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, June Cedeno, of Ozark, Alabama, and Joyce (Dale) Dewitt, of Pelion, South Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and many brothers and sisters.
Janet was a hair stylist for many years. She was the owner of Banners Beauty Bar and Janet's Fashion Coiffeur.
Janet enjoyed crafts and spending time on the lake.
A funeral service will be held in Janet's honor at 10 a.m., on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023, at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2023, from 5-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
Pastor Jean Ness will officiate.
Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
