ROME CITY - Jerry Mitchell Nodine, age 72, of Rome City, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2025, at Orchard Pointe in Kendallville.
Jerry was born in Kendallville, Indiana, on Oct. 31, 1952, son of the late Howard Eugene Nodine and Helen Marie (Bloom) Nodine.
He graduated from East Noble High School in 1970.
Jerry was production manager of Americraft Carton in Sturgis, Michigan.
He married Jaqueline June Felger on Feb. 14, 1995, in Wolcottville, and survives him in Rome City.
Jerry loved fishing, golfing, time with his grandkids, and Notre Dame football.
Survivors include his wife, Jackie Nodine, of Rome City; daughter, Britt and Eric Egler, of Brownsburg, Indiana; son, Clayton Nodine and Joann, of Avondale, Arizona; two grandchildren, Ethan and Oliver Egler; stepson, Jeff Schieferstein and Megan Arnold, both of Fort Wayne; and a brother, Tom and Cindy Nodine, of Goshen, Indiana.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025, from 10 a.m. to noon, at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville, followed by a memorial service at noon.
A luncheon will be served at 1:30 p.m., immediately following the memorial service at Rome City American Legion Post 381.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Noble County Humane Shelter in Kendallville.
