AUBURN - Kenneth G. "Kenny" Feightner, 83, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024, at Miller's Merry Manor in Garrett, Indiana.
He was born on Dec. 28, 1940, in Garrett, Indiana, to Kenneth B. and Mary E. (Ross) Feightner.
Kenny was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving in the Vietnam War.
He worked for Simpson Industries for several years, retiring in 2002.
Kenny was an avid outdoorsman and loved being out on the water fishing. He was a founding member of Auburn Bassmaster's and took part in various tournaments where he received numerous trophies and awards.
Surviving are his wife, Treva A. Feightner, of Auburn; two children and their spouses, James and Maria Feightner, of Fort Wayne and Gina and Jeff Nelson, of Garrett; stepson and his spouse, Evan and Rachel Brown, of Cedarville, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother and his wife, Blaine and Donna Feightner, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; nephew and his wife, James and Pam Hablawetz, of Hicksville, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Shane Feightner; sister, Martha Miller; and a grandson, Joshua Feightner.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, with visitation from 10-11 a.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery in Newville, with military honors being conducted by the United States Navy.
Visitation also will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., on Monday, April 22, 2024, at the funeral home.
