GARRETT - Lawrence P. "Larry" Faulkner, age 69, of Garrett, Indiana, entered into the arms of the Lord on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Parkview DeKalb Hosptial in Auburn, Indiana.
Larry was born on April 16, 1956, in Marion, Indiana, to Paul E. and LaVonne (McKitrick) Faulkner.
Larry married Julia Parker on April 16, 1977, in Auburn, Indiana, and she survives in Garrett.
Larry was a machine operator at Dana Corporation in Fort Wayne, Indiana, for 30 years, retiring in 2007.
Larry was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Garrett, Indiana, and the Mustang Club of America. Larry loved Mustang Automobiles and the Indianapolis Colts!
Larry is survived by his wife, Julie "Mrs. Julie" Faulkner, of Garrett, Indiana; son, Paul Robert Faulkner, of Garrett, Indiana; best 4-legged gal, Daisy; brother, Fred (Emma) Shell, of South Whitley, Indiana; three sisters, Nancy Smith, of Sweetser, Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Paul E. Faulkner and Carl and LaVonne Faulkner Shell; and his sister, Donna.
Visitation will take place from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, Indiana, and from 9-10 a.m., on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Garrett, Indiana.
Services will take place at 10 a.m., on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Garrett, Indiana, with the Rev. Keaton Christiansen officiating.
Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, Auburn, Indiana.
Memorials may be made to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Pre-School.
