AUBURN - Loretta I. (Schwartz) Blevins, 89, of Auburn, Indiana, died on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, surrounded by her family.
She was born on July 8, 1936, in Auburn, to Clifton and Lela (Shoudel) Schwartz.
She graduated from Auburn High School in 1954, and married her childhood sweetheart and love of her life, James W. Blevins on Dec. 23, 1956. They were married 48 years before he passed away on Feb. 8, 2004.
Surviving are five children, Liz (Don) Winsley, Brad Blevins, Mandy (Tim) Haynes, Barry (Kristin) Blevins and Missy (Bill) Spice; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; and step-great-grandchildren; sister, Patsy Harris; brother and sister-in-law, Dennis (Vickie) Schwartz; and sister-in-law, Sue Schwartz.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Bowmar; and two brothers, Dave Schwartz and Herb Schwartz.
Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m., on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2025, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m., on Monday, Aug. 4, 2025, at the funeral home, with visitation from 10-11 a.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
Pastor Ryan Koch will be officiating.
Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn.
Memorials may be directed to Hopewell United Brethren Church, 6852 C.R. 35, Auburn or Community Foundation DeKalb County, Community Grantmaking Fund, P.O. Box 111, Auburn.
