BUTLER - Martha Elaine Grubb, 81, of Butler, Indiana, passed away on Friday, Oct. 31, 2025, at Celebrate Senior Living in Fort Wayne.
She was born on April 1, 1944, in Auburn, Indiana, to James B. and Essie E. (Utter) Nodine.
Martha was a 1962 graduate of Butler High School.
She was a shopping consultant for Wolf and Dessauer Department Store in Fort Wayne, was a receptionist for Sheller Globe in Grabill and later retired from Guardian Industries as a receptionist.
Martha married Larry Gene Grubb on Dec. 10, 1972, in Auburn, and he passed away on April 29, 2005.
She was a member of Christian Union Brethren in Christ Church in rural Garrett.
Martha enjoyed spending time with friends and family playing euchre, reading, and working on word searches and puzzles. She loved watching Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune, and she especially cherished outings to shows and the theater.
Surviving are a daughter, April Grubb, of Auburn; and five nieces and nephews, Kent and Debra Rosenbury, of Marietta, Georgia, James and Jeanette Rosenbury, of Auburn, Karen and Mark Creager, of Indianapolis, Nick and Chris Menges, of Auburn and Roger and Gretchen Menges, of Auburn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Doris Menges and Beverly Rosenbury.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, with Ronald Remke officiating.
Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025, at the funeral home, prior to the service.
