Michael Baker Obituary

GARRETT- Michael Robert Baker Jr., 30, of Garrett, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2025.

Michael had a smile that would light up a room, the best sense of humor, and a deep love and loyalty for his wife, family, and his many friends. His laugh was infectious and one of a kind.

He enjoyed fishing, working on his car, his many tattoos, and especially listening to music. He had a cat, Mia Jade, that he loved dearly. But what he enjoyed the most was just spending all the time he could with his loved ones. He was a devoted husband, son, brother, and uncle. Family meant everything to him.

Michael was able to give the gift of life through the selfless act of organ donation. He had a huge heart for others.

He was born on Sept. 28, 1994, in Auburn, Indiana.

His mother, Wendy Joy (Albright) Baker, survives in Garrett; and his father and stepmother, Michael Robert (Aeneva) Baker Sr., survive in Auburn.

Michael is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Julia Nicole (Dewitt) Baker. They were married on Oct. 17, 2020. in Auburn.
