Michele Coughlin Obituary
AGE: 49 • Belmar
Michele Coughlin, 49, of Belmar, passed away at her home on Sunday, March 30, 2014. Michele was born and raised in Jersey City and moved to Belmar in 1985. Michele was a legal secretary for Alston and Bird LLP New York, NY. Michele graduated from Holy Family Academy, Bayonne. She was an avid hockey fan with the Buffalo Sabres being her favorite team. Michele loved music, enjoyed traveling, doing yoga, the beach and spending time with her family and friends.
Michele was predeceased by her mother, Helen Coughlin in 1998 and a brother-in-law, William Powell in 2010. She is survived by her father, Edward Coughlin of Belmar; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Laura and Kevin McGlynn of Howell, Linda Powell of Tinton Falls, Charlotte Coughlin of Spring Lake Heights, and Alicia and Chris Piccinnini of Wall. Michele is also survived by four nephews and three nieces, Lindsay Powell, Alanna McGlynn, Brenda McGlynn, Brian Powell, Connor McGlynn and Liam Piccinnini.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visiting from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 3 at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 4 at St. Rose Church, Belmar. Burial will be private. My sincerest sympathies to the Coughlin family as you grieve for Michele. In addition to her passion for hockey, Michele often spoke of her close-knit family, especially Lindsay and Brian. She was so proud of Charlotte when she went to study in Spain. I trust that the memory of the happy times all of you shared with Michele will help to comfort you in the immediate days ahead. Michele was a beautiful person, both inside and out. She was witty and spiritual. She loved animals, especially kittens, and of course babies! She was a free spirit which lit our lives while she was here. She will be greatly missed. My prayers are with the Coughlin Family at this time. May God Guide Michele safely home!

Michele was beautiful both on the outside and inside. She was very insightful, spiritual and compassionate. She was an avid lover of animals, especially kittens. She loved plants, flowers and often spoke of the porch not giving enough light to her spider plant. She was helpful, always willing to help a co-worker by splitting the workload, etc. I will miss her here at A&B every single day...My prayer is that God guides Michele safely home so that she may rest peacefully and that he grants peace to the Coughlin Family.

Michele was an amazing person with a good heart. She had beautiful energy that lifted the spirits of the room. She will be greatly missed by many.
