WATERLOO - Phyllis L. Reardon, 88, of Auburn, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, in an automobile accident.
She was born at home in Noble County on March 2, 1930, to Earl B. and Helen (Iddings) Householder.
Phyllis enjoyed her work at the Allen County Library and was office manager at Cameron Hospital in Angola.
She was a member at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Waterloo and volunteered at Sacred Heart Home in Avilla for many years.
She married Willis R. "Bill" Reardon on Dec. 12, 1946, in Fort Wayne and he died Dec. 4, 1999.
She is survived by a daughter and son, Marti Freed and her husband Rick of Hamilton and Patrick Reardon and his wife Tobi of Angola; four grandchildren, Stephanie Hine (husband Tim), Drew Freed (wife Kyra), Emilyn "Emie" Reardon and Connor Reardon; two great-grandchildren, Griffin Hine and Amelia Hine; two brothers, Earl B. Householder Jr. (wife Barbara) of Valparaiso and Tom Householder (wife Lora) of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Bob Householder and Warren Householder; and two sisters, Betty Jackson and Barbara Benstead.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018. at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 S. Wayne St., Waterloo. Burial will follow the service in the Catholic Cemetery in Fort Wayne.
Calling is Monday, Oct. 8, 2018, from 3-7 p.m. at the funeral home. A Rosary will be recited at 2:45 p.m. Monday prior to visitation at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials are to the Rescue Mission in Fort Wayne or Masses to the church.

Phyllis was a wonderful Aunt. I loved her honesty and spunk. A great lady. She will missed very much.
